In 2023, the impact of the COVID-19 has been further
mitigated. The 2023 RIN Online Workshop Series provided a
forum for full-fledged discussions on a new phase of East
Asian revival for sustainable growth.
To expand the current knowledge and stimulate interactive
discussions among RIN member institutes and ERIA, 13 speakers
from 8 institutes and ERIA shared their findings and views
from their current research at the workshops.
The topics of discussion included digital trade, technology
and employment, sustainable investment, carbon border
adjustment mechanism (CBAM), US export control regulation,
global semi-conductor supply chain, ROK- ASEAN trade, progress
of RCEP and trend of food and fishery industry, etc.
The ASEAN and East Asian countries must continuously cope with
these issues.
How can governments adjust their policies to these issues?
What will be the role of ASEAN and East Asian integration in
addressing these unsolved problems and emerging challenges? In
the 2023 RIN Online Workshop Series

Growth”, we discussed on these questions.
